Middle Apron Feeder is a large machine that carries large bulk of stone or other materials to Crusher or conveyors etc.. These machines is known as plate feeders . Apron feeder allow to be controlled the capacity and speed by frequency regulator .
It can be installed horizontally or aslant ,but the maximum slant angle couldn’t more than 20 degrees.

The traction chain adopts a long-pitch roller chain, and all parts of the chain are made of alloy steel materials, and have undergone scientific heat treatment, which has good wear resistance, high tensile strength and long service life
The stamping chain plate/pan is used, and the middle part is reinforced with transverse ribs, the chain plate/pan has good rigidity and large carrying capacity. In order to avoid material leakage, the plate/pan with arc design
The maximum conveying length of a single machine is 30m
The range of conveying inclination is 0-30 degrees
Working principle
The middle apron feeder operates on a chain-driven cyclic conveying mechanism, tailored for medium-load bulk material handling:
A motor drives the sprocket to pull the closed-loop chain and interconnected medium-duty aprons, enabling continuous movement along the frame.
Bulk materials (e.g., crushed stone, mineral ore,) are fed onto the aprons from a hopper/silo, then stably transported to subsequent processes (e.g., screening machine, conveyor).
After unloading, the empty aprons return along the lower track to the feeding end, completing the cyclic operation.
